Duties 

The appointee will be required to: 

(a)    foster links with the Faculty’s alumni, potential donors, and industry/corporate partners; 

(b)    organise talks, seminars, functions and activities for alumni engagement, fund-raising, and career services;

(c)    assist in devising career development/job placement programmes and initiatives;

(d)    maintain the alumni, industry/corporate partner, career services databases of the Faculty;

(e)    work closely with various teams in the Faculty office (e.g. marketing team) to execute the aforementioned items and associated events, and liaise with internal and external parties on related matters; and

(f)    perform any other duties as assigned by the Dean of Faculty or his delegates.

The appointee may be required to work beyond or outside normal office hours for functions and event/activities/meetings hosted by the Faculty or other external parties.

Qualifications 

Applicants should have:

(a)    a recognised degree with at least five years of relevant post-qualification work experience;

(b)    excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

(c)    an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluency in Cantonese and Putonghua is required;

(d)    good computer literacy, and preferably be familiar with database management; and

(e)    strong problem-solving and leadership skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.

Preference may be given to those with work experience gained in tertiary institutions or similar organisations.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.  Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
