Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Enhancing aspect-based sentiment analysis: Embracing multilingual and multimodal dimensions with large language Models”. He/She will be required to:
(a) conduct literature reviews;
(b) assist in data collection and analysis;
(c) deploy platforms and develop algorithms;
(d) participate in the writing and publishing of scientific papers; and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have an honours degree and preferably a master’s degree in computer science, data science, computational linguistics, natural language processing, or a related discipline;
(b) have a solid understanding of natural language processing techniques, sentiment analysis algorithms, and machine learning principles;
(c) be a native speaker of Mandarin and Cantonese, and highly proficient in English; and
(d) possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
