Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - “Bolted beam-to-column joints with austenitic stainless steel components for enhanced robustness of steel frame structures”. They will be required to conduct advanced nonlinear finite element analysis of structural steel elements.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a doctoral degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or a related discipline or an equivalent qualification and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application.
Preference will be given to those with strong research experience of structural steel and/or stainless steel research.
