Duties

The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Reducing social avoidance and enhancing prosocial behaviour among adolescents with special educational needs”.  The project is funded by the Health Bureau and focuses on developing gamified virtual reality (VR) interventions for social anxiety and prosocial behaviour for adolescents with special educational needs (SEN).  He/She will be required to:

(a)    collect and analyse data;

(b)    liaise with stakeholders; and

(c)    perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit or his delegates. 

Qualifications

Applicants should:

(a)    have an honours degree in Psychology, Social Sciences or other related disciplines;

(b)    have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Cantonese;

(c)    be proficient in using statistical software such as SPSS;

(d)    have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills; and

(e)    be self-motivated, well-organised, detail-minded and able to multi-task.

Conditions of Service

The remuneration rate is HK$122 per hour.
