Research Associate / Research Assistant (several posts)

Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - “Reimagining the future of rehabilitation in the metaverse with AI model and analysis methods”. They will be required to:
(a) process and review data related to workplace injuries and rehabilitation outcomes;
(b) develop and apply statistical models and AI algorithms to analyze rehabilitation data, identify patterns and predict outcomes; and
(c) use AI and statistical insights to recommend improvements or changes to existing rehabilitation plans.
Qualifications
For the post of Research Associate, applicants should have a master’s degree or a good honours degree in Health Science, Date Science, Statistics, Computer Science or a related discipline with three or more years of research/relevant work experience.
For the post of Research Assistant, applicants should have an honours degree in Health Science, Date Science, Statistics, Computer Science or a related discipline or an equivalent qualification.
For both posts, applicants should:
(a) be proficient in AI and machine learning techniques with a strong understanding of algorithms used in predictive modeling and data analysis;
(b) be skilled in statistical analysis and able to apply statistical methods to large data sets; and
(c) have experience in using programming languages and AI algorithms for data analysis.
