Part-time Research Assistant

Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “ORal-motor Assessment and Rehabilitation mobile App (ORAR App)”. He/She will be required to:
(a) carry out speech/communication/cognitive assessment tasks on neurologically healthy adults/patients with neurological impairments under PI/research associate’s supervision;
(b) liaise with various rehabilitation centers/hospitals/NGOs in subject recruitment and data collection;
(c) assist in project development in terms of content development, trial and user feedback; and
(d) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.
The appointee may be required to work occasionally outside normal office hours, including Saturdays.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have an honours degree in Speech-Language Therapy/other related disciplines such as Linguistics, Rehabilitation/Language Sciences;
(b) have at least 1 year of experience in interacting/serving elderly/patients with neurological disorders;
(c) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese;
(d) have good teamwork and interpersonal skills; and
(e) be proficient in computer skills including SPSS, Microsoft Office and Chinese word processing.

Conditions of Service
The remuneration rate is HK$122 per hour.
