Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Life-cycle performance prediction and maintenance for coastal concrete structures subject to climate change”.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a master’s degree or an honours degree in Civil Engineering, specialising in concrete materials or structural engineering, or an equivalent qualification;
(b) proficiency in numerical simulation techniques, especially finite element analysis;
(c) programming skills in at least one of the following languages: MATLAB, Python or C++;
(d) the ability to conduct independent research and contribute to the development of research projects; and
(e) excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to produce high quality SCI-indexed papers.
