[Appointment period: twelve months]

Duties

The appointee will assist the project leader in the research projects - “Psychological well-being of adolescents after the COVID-19 pandemic in China: How can schools and families help?” and/or “Cyberbullying among children with victimization experiences: The role of emotional risk factors and social-ecological protective factors”.  He/She will be required to:

(a)    conduct literature review; 

(b)    liaise with schools for the recruitment of participants;

(c)    collect and analyse quantitative data, particularly longitudinal data;

(d)    assist in report and paper writing; and

(e)    perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit or his delegates.

Qualifications

Applicants should:

(a)    have an honours degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education or other related disciplines;

(b)    have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;

(c)    have good computer literacy including SPSS, MS Excel and PowerPoint, with knowledge of Mplus being an advantage;

(d)    have a strong sense of responsibility;

(e)    have good interpersonal skills; and

(f)    be able to work independently.

Preference will be given to those with a master’s degree in one of the said disciplines.
