Project Assistant (three posts)

[Appointment period: each for twelve months initially, with the possibility of further appointment]

Duties 

The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - “Evaluation of learning and teaching aspects on national education”.  They will be required to:

(a)    assist in some leadership research subjects;

(b)    conduct literature review;

(c)    collect and analyse quantitative and qualitative data;

(d)    assist in curriculum implementation and update as well as report writing; and

(e)    perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit or his/her delegates.

Qualifications

Applicants should:

(a)    have an honours degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education or other related disciplines, preferably with a master’s degree in one of the said disciplines; 

(b)    have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;

(c)    have a good knowledge of using statistical software such as SPSS, Mplus, AMOS or R;

(d)    have research interests in youth development, assessment, leadership and other related areas;

(e)    have a strong sense of responsibility and good interpersonal skills; and

(f)    be able to work independently.
