Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - “Emotional and spatial cognition measurement of community living experiences in real time using facial emotion recognition and computational tools including Python”. The project focuses on integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) enabled research methods in creating responsive and efficient urban environments that benefit the inhabitants for both individual and group/community needs. These tools will be used in the research to measure and predict user responsiveness to a scope of vertical urban conditions. AI methodologies to be employed will include deep learning agent, multi agent model, agent model system and digital twin in order to develop and apply generalised coding in relation to specific spatial systems.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) an honours degree in Arts, Architecture or related disciplines or an equivalent qualification; and
(b) skills and experience in using AI tools and software such as Revit, Rhino or Grasshopper for modelling.
Preference will be given to those with a master’s degree as well as experience in using facial recognition tools for measuring emotional and spatial cognition.

Conditions of Service
For full-time appointment, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
For part-time appointment, the remuneration rate is HK$122 per hour.
