Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “A study of applying generative AI in design education”. The project aims to investigate the impacts of integrating Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) into design disciplines, including its effects on students’ learning experiences and teachers’ teaching pedagogy. The project will provide valuable insights into the benefits, challenges and factors facilitating the organic combination of GenAI with design teaching. He/She will be required to:
(a) conduct background study;
(b) conduct data collection and analysis;
(c) assist in preparing research proposal and project reports; and
(d) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a master’s degree or a good honours degree with three or more years of relevant work experience;
(b) have a good command of both written and spoken English, with fluency in Chinese being an advantage;
(c) have good organisational and communication skills; and
(d) be self-motivated and able to work independently.

Conditions of Service
The remuneration rate is HK$173 per hour.
