Project Assistant (Full-time/Part-time) (two posts)

[Appointment period: each for three months initially, with possibility of further appointment]
Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the project - “Empathy as a core teaching strategy toward more inclusive education”. They will be required to:
(a) assist in data preparation, collection, entry and analysis;
(b) design user manuals for the project outcomes;
(c) design a website for hosting the project outcomes;
(d) design digital persona profiles based on the project research;
(e) assist in conducting participatory workshops;
(f) assist in writing up research results and presenting the results in English to the stakeholders; and
(g) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have an honours degree preferably in Communication Design, Advertising Design, Interactive Media or an equivalent qualification;
(b) have full command of Adobe software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop);
(c) have strong interest in and knowledge of education practices or inclusive design as well as strong enthusiasm in research;
(d) have a good command of written and spoken English;
(e) be self-motivated, willing to learn and show initiative; and
(f) be responsible, reliable, well-organised and detail-oriented.

Conditions of Service
For full-time appointments, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
For part-time appointments, the remuneration rate is HK$122 per hour.
