Assistant Marketing Manager (Temporary Appointment)

[Appointment period: twelve months]

Duties 

The appointee will support the marketing, promotion activities, brand building for the PolyU Design Master of Science degree in Innovative Multimedia Entertainment (MScIME) programme.  He/She will be required to: 

(a)    develop and implement marketing plan to promote the MScIME programme to the targeted the potential students locally and internationally; 

(b)    produce marketing materials including brochures, posters, website contents, social media posts (such as Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Weibo, Weixin, Xiaohongshu, Zhihu, etc.), PowerPoint presentation, video contents, souvenirs, etc.; 

(c)    collect and analyse data from various channels to provide marketing insights to the programme team;

(d)    organise information seminars and activities in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Mainland China and overseas; 

(e)    collaborate and liaise with stakeholders including but not limited to partner universities, agencies, etc.; 

(f)    collaborate with the admission team to ensure consistent messages across all marketing materials and channels which align with the information provided to perspective students; and

(g)    perform any other duties as assigned by the Dean of School or his delegates.

The appointee may be required to work outside normal office hours and travel outside Hong Kong.

Qualifications 

Applicants should: 

(a)    have a recognised degree; 

(b)    have at least five years of solid marketing experience in education sector or similar fields; 

(c)    have sound knowledge of marketing, branding, public relations management, online marketing and social media;

(d)    have excellent computer literacy; 

(e)    have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua; 

(f)    have excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and

(g)    be highly motivated, result-oriented, dynamic and mature.

Conditions of Service 

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
