Project Assistant

[Appointment period: twelve months initially, with possibility of further appointment]

Duties 

The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Jockey Club Promoting Family Resilience Project 2.0”.  It is a three-year social service project supported by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust.  The project’s key components include online family education programmes, online e-learning course, family resilience resource hub, award scheme for schools, ambassador training for parents, community-based family intervention programmes, professional training and evidence-based evaluation studies.  He/She will be required to:

(a) create and produce multimedia content for a variety of digital platforms and marketing materials;

(b) assist in managing various social media platforms;

(c) assist in the design and production of online educational programmes, promotional and marketing activities and online events and programmes;

(d) assist in data collection in evidence-based evaluation studies; 

(e) provide administrative support to the project; and 

(f) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit or his delegates.

Qualifications 

Applicants should:

(a) have an honours degree in Marketing, Media Communication, Advertising, E-commerce or an equivalent qualification;

(b) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; 

(c) have good computer literacy including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva and Adobe Creative Suite;

(d) have hands-on experience in using digital marketing tools such as Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Twitter, YouTube and SEO management, etc.;

(e) have good interpersonal and organisational skills; 

(f) have strong ability to prioritise among multiple tasks; and

(g) be a good team player and able to work independently.
