Project Associate / Project Assistant (several posts)

Duties
The appointees will assist project leader in the research projects - “Enhancement of positive ageing, family relations, and quality of later life”, “Who cares for sandwiched ageing carers? Effects of intergenerational care provision on future care planning”, “Using Photovoice to improve future care preparation among ageing families in Hong Kong” and/or “Research centre for gerontology and family studies”. They will be required to:
(a) conduct research and evaluation studies of the project(s);
(b) assist in running programmes, events and workshops for the project(s);
(c) assist in preparing reports, manuals, publicity materials, correspondences with external parties and related administrative work for the project(s);
(d) support academic activities of the Research Centre for Gerontology and Family Studies; and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit or his delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants for the Project Associate post should have a master’s degree in Gerontology, Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences or other related disciplines or a good honours degree in one of the said disciplines with at least three years of research/relevant work experience.
Applicants for the Project Assistant post should have an honours degree in one of the said disciplines or an equivalent qualification.
