Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project – “Design and evaluation of a collaborative virtual try‐on app for socially‐inspired apparel shopping”. He/She will be required to:
(a) coordinate correspondence between and facilitate the collaboration of various parties;
(b) assist in conducting literature review;
(c) assist in user studies to evaluate software prototypes, e.g. experiment design, data collection and data analysis, etc.;
(d) provide support in preparing project documentation; and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a doctoral degree in Design or an equivalent qualification and must have no more than five years of post‐qualification experience at the time of application;
(b) experience in academic research, particularly in the area of virtual try‐ons;
(c) experience in experimental design or user studies;
(d) good interpersonal and communication skills; and
(e) an excellent command of written and spoken English.
Preference will be given to those who have a relevant portfolio related to virtual try‐on system design and/or experience in research in virtual try‐on systems for shopping.
