Postdoctoral Fellow / Research Associate / Research Assistant (Full-time/Part-time)

Duties 

The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Investigating the effects of step training and the mediating effects of prefrontal cortex functioning in older adults with mild dementia: A randomized wait-list controlled trial”.

Qualifications

Applicants for the Postdoctoral Fellow post should have a doctoral degree preferably in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation, Psychology, Neuroscience, Sports Science, Geriatrics or other health-related disciplines or an equivalent qualification and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application.

Applicants for the Research Associate post should have a master’s degree preferably in one of the above-mentioned disciplines or a good honours degree preferably in one of the above-mentioned disciplines with three or more years of research/relevant work experience.

Applicants for the Research Assistant post should have an honours degree preferably in one of the above-mentioned disciplines or an equivalent qualification.

Preference will be given to those with experience in exercise training, clinical research or journal publication as well as potential in pursuing a postgraduate degree (e.g. PhD).

Conditions of Service

For full-time appointment, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.

For part-time appointment, the remuneration rates are HK$378 per hour for the post of Postdoctoral Fellow, HK$173 per hour for the post of Research Associate and HK$122 per hour for the post of Research Assistant.
