Part-time Research Assistant

Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Enhancing authentic learning experience through academia-industry collaboration on virtual reality teaching”. He/She will be required to:
(a) assist in conducting literature reviews;
(b) coordinate with metaverse developers for curriculum design, scene and asset management;
(c) assist in collecting students’ feedbacks (e.g. survey design, data collection and data analysis) to evaluate the effectiveness of adopting metaverse in learning; and
(d) provide support in preparing project documentations.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) an honours degree in Education, Information Technology, Design, Management or a related discipline or an equivalent qualification;
(b) experience in academic research;
(c) experience in content creation using VR design or metaverse design;
(d) good interpersonal, coordination and communications skills; and
(e) passion and ability to learn new concepts and technologies.
Preference will be given to those with working experience in engineering-related fields and/or game-based learning design.

Conditions of Service
The remuneration rate is HK$122 per hour.
