Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the project - “HERO-CARE Holistic education in radiation oncology and care empowerment for cancer children and carers”. He/She will be required to:
(a) assist in the mechanical design and development of a manikin;
(b) assist in prototype fabrication and testing; and
(c) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants for the Project Associate post should have a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Product Design or a related disciplines, or a good honours degree in the said disciplines with at least three years of solid work experience in engineering or product design.
Applicants for the Project Assistant post should have an honours degree in one of the above-mentioned disciplines.
Applicants should also:
(a) be familiar with 3D printing and CAD design tools, such as AutoCAD or Solidworks; and
(b) have a good command of both written and spoken English, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage.
Preference will be given to those with experience in programming with Python.
