Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - “Wearable lightweight knee exoskeleton for assisting with lower limb movement”. They will be required to:
(a) assist in clinical trials for testing the developed robotic devices on human subjects; and
(b) publish journal articles and attend academic conferences.
Qualifications
Applicants for the Postdoctoral Fellow post should have a doctoral degree in Medical Physics, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Imaging, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related disciplines; and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application.
Applicants for the Research Assistant post should have an honours degree in the afore-mentioned disciplines or an equivalent qualification.
Applicants should also:
(a) be self-motivated, have a good sense of responsibility and strong problem-solving skills;
(b) be independent and outgoing with good communication skills; and
(c) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
Applicants from other academic backgrounds but with passion in the development of wearable technology will also be considered.

Conditions of Service
