Research Associate (Full-time/Part-time)

Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the project - “Centre of evidence-based practice for health care policy”. He/She will be required to:
(a) coordinate and organise meetings and/or publicity activities;
(b) provide effective administrative and secretarial support to the Directors;
(c) assist in conducting literature review, data analysis and report writing;
(d) provide training related to evidence-based practice and systematic reviews; and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of School, the Centre Director or their delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a master’s degree in Health, Social Science or other related disciplines or a good honours degree in one of the said disciplines with at least three years of research/relevant work experience;
(b) have a strong background in research support including literature review, data collection and analysis; project administration or relevant experience;
(c) have a strong ability to prioritise among multiple tasks;
(d) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in both Cantonese and Putonghua;
(e) be highly self-motivated and have good organisational and problem solving skills;
(f) have good computer literacy including MS Office and social media platforms;
(g) be a good team player and able to work independently;
(h) be proficient in using analysis software SPSS and similar programs (R and STATA); and
(i) be willing to be trained with JBI systematic review methods.

Conditions of Service
For full-time appointment, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
For part-time appointment, the remuneration rate is HK$173 per hour.
