Part-time Research Assistant

Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - “Unveiling ageism through text-to-image artificial intelligence (AI) assisted inside/outside self-portrait with older adults”. The project focuses on self-ageism in older people and promoting mental health awareness and knowledge. He/She will be required to:
(a) conduct literature review;
(b) conduct individual arts-based sessions with older adults on ageism;
(c) conduct data management and data analysis;
(d) develop project deliverables;
(e) liaise with project collaborators; and
(f) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have an honours degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Health Sciences or other social sciences related disciplines;
(b) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese including Cantonese;
(c) have good interpersonal skills, in particular working with older adults;
(d) be familiar with social sciences research methods;
(e) be proficient in using digital art apps; and
(f) be self-motivated, well-organised and detail-minded.
Preference will be given to those with a master’s degree in one of the said disciplines and relevant research/work experience.

Conditions of Service
The remuneration rate is HK$122 per hour.
