Research Assistant (Full-time/Part-time) (two posts)

[Appointment period: each for twelve months initially, with possibility of further appointment]
Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - “Self-acupressure with or without Tai Chi Zhan-Zhuang for pain, fatigue and sleep disturbance in breast cancer survivors: A pilot randomized controlled trial”. They will be required to:
(a) assist in general management of the project;
(b) assist in recruiting patients, data collection and data entry;
(c) liaise with patients and community/hospital staff to facilitate study progression and management; and
(d) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have an honours degree in Public Health, Health Services Management, Statistics, Psychology, Nursing or other related disciplines or an equivalent qualification;
(b) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
(c) have good interpersonal and communication skills; and
(d) be able to work independently.

Conditions of Service
For full-time appointments, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
For part-time appointments, the remuneration rate is HK$122 per hour.
