Physiotherapist I / Physiotherapist II (Rehabilitation Clinic) (two posts)

Duties

The appointees will be required to:

(a)    provide physiotherapy services to patients attending the Rehabilitation Clinic;

(b)    provide on-field physiotherapy service;

(c)    conduct health-related talks and exercise classes;

(d)    assist in the promotion and development of clinic services; and

(e)    perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit or his/her delegates.

For the post of Physiotherapist I, the appointees will also be required to:

(a)    supervise on-site and off-site clinical placements;

(b)    provide administrative support; and

(c)    participate in classroom teaching and practical / laboratory sessions.

Qualifications

Applicants for the Physiotherapist I post should have a bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent with at least five years of relevant post-qualification working experience in the fields such as sports physiotherapy / musculoskeletal physiotherapy / neurological rehabilitation / pelvic floor rehabilitation. Preference will be given to those with a master's degree in Sports Physiotherapy / Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy / Neurological Rehabilitation / Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation.

Applicants for the Physiotherapist II post should have a bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy with at least two years of post-qualification working experience in musculoskeletal or sports physiotherapy.

For both posts, applicants should also:

(a)    be registered with the Hong Kong Physiotherapists Board and have a valid practising certificate;

(b)    have good interpersonal and communication skills; and

(c)    be independent and able to work with colleagues from other disciplines. 

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.  Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
