Part-time Research Assistant

Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “System planning and policy design for autonomous service enabled transport systems”. He/she will be required to conduct studies related to the data modelling and analytical modelling.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) an honours degree or a master’s degree in an appropriate discipline related to economics, optimization methods, data analytics or an equivalent qualification;
(b) experience in using one of the following software: STATA, Python, R, Matlab;
(c) completion of undergraduate or post-graduate level courses in Econometrics, Statistics and/or Optimization with good grades;
(d) research experience; and
(e) good interpersonal and communication skills.
Preference will be given to those with C, C++ programming skill, journal / conference publication, and knowledge of aviation and/or maritime industry.

Conditions of Service
The remuneration rate is HK$122 per hour.
