[Appointment period: twelve months initially, with possibility of further appointment]

Duties

The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “A mobile application for early detection and symptoms trajectories of postpartum depression using ecological momentary assessment (EMA)”.  He/She will be required to:

(a)    assist in a mobile app-based assessment and intervention project including recruitment of subjects, organising study logistics and conducting assessments and interviews;

(b)    perform data entry, data analysis and prepare reports; 

(c)    conduct literature search and draft manuscript; and

(d)    perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader.

Qualifications

Applicants should:

(a)    have an honours degree or above in Psychology, Counselling, Psychiatry, Public Health, Nursing, Rehabilitation or a health-related discipline or an equivalent qualification;

(b)    have a good command of written English and spoken Chinese, with fluency in Cantonese;

(c)    have good communication skills; and

(d)    be sensible, empathetic and able to work independently and responsibly. 

Preference will be given to those with relevant background in mobile app-based research and experience in working with patients with mental illness.

Conditions of Service
