Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - “Relationship between travel behaviour and built environment factors: Impacts on mobility and quality of life of people with physical disabilities”.
Qualifications
Applicants for the Postdoctoral Fellow post should have a PhD degree in Urban Planning / Architecture / Landscape Architecture or other related disciplines and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application.
Applicants for the Research Associate post should have a master’s degree in Urban Planning / Architecture / Landscape Architecture or other related disciplines, or a good honours degree in the afore-mentioned disciplines with three or more years of research / relevant work experience.
Applicants should also have:
(a) knowledge of conducting GIS spatial data analysis, statistical modelling and analysis of questionnaires data;
(b) a good publication record and experience in drafting research proposals related to the field of built environment; and
(c) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
