Postdoctoral Fellow (Full-time/Part-time)

Duties

The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “The role of the human frontopolar cortex in complex decision making: Neural network modelling, aging, and enhancement”.  He/She will be required to work closely with the project leader in a decision neuroscience project that involves functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), brain stimulation and computational modelling.  The project will involve collaboration with researchers from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University and the University of Oxford.

Qualifications

Applicants should have:

(a)    a doctoral degree in Cognitive Science, Cognitive Neuroscience, Neuropsychology, Computer Science or other related disciplines and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application;

(b)    experience in conducting human neuroscience research and/or be proficient in computer programming, e.g. Matlab and Python;

(c)    a good command of both spoken and written English; and

(d)    good interpersonal and communication skills.

Conditions of Service

For full-time appointment, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  

For part-time appointment, the remuneration rate is HK$378 per hour.
