Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) provide administrative support for academic programmes relating to student admission and registration, promotion, subject registration, timetabling, assessment and student activities, etc.;
(b) coordinate and ensure compliance with the procedural guidelines and the regulations required for the operation and administration of the academic programmes;
(c) maintain student record and database of the academic programmes, and compile statistical reports related to students and graduates;
(d) answer written and telephone enquiries from staff, students and applicants;
(e) provide secretarial and administrative support to committees and meetings;
(f) perform general office administrative work for the Department; and
(g) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a recognised degree;
(b) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua;
(c) good interpersonal, communication, problem-solving and organisational skills;
(d) a strong sense of responsibility, a detail-oriented mind, a proactive attitude and competence in multi-tasking;
(e) the ability to work independently and under pressure, and as an effective team member; and
(f) high computer literacy and knowledge of software applications.
Preference will be given to those with solid knowledge of operation of academic programmes and relevant post-qualification work experience at tertiary institutions.

Condition of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
