Project Assistant

[Appointment period: twenty-four months]

Duties

The appointee will assist the project leader in the project – “Marketing communication”. He/She will be required to:

(a)    support execution of communication plans for online and offline promotional activities and projects like preparing marketing materials, arranging digital marketing including email campaigns, website and social media management, etc.;

(b)    develop and execute content marketing to achieve marketing goals, including generating ideas, copywriting and presenting ideas into content in a diverse online and digital format (e.g. textual, graphical and video), arranging and ensuring exposure of content through multiplicity of channels;

(c)    liaise with external and internal stakeholders for various collaborations and initiatives, and maintain an updated and growing database;

(d)    support the organisation of events and projects like seminars, exhibitions, conferences, etc.;

(e)    recruit and manage a team of student assistants and ambassadors to conduct good quality tours and activities;

(f)    report and perform data analysis of marketing campaigns;

(g)    support daily operations and provide administrative support to the team; and       

(h)    perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or her delegates.

Qualifications

Applicants should:

(a)    have an honours degree in Design, Journalism, Communication, Business Management, Marketing or an equivalent qualification with at least one year of relevant working experience;

(b)    have good knowledge of and skills in video and animation production and experience in managing social media accounts;

(c)    have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua; 

(d)    have the ability to communicate with and enjoy interacting and meeting with diversified groups of people;

(e)    be articulate, fast learning, and highly savvy with new technologies; 

(f)    be presentable, highly organised, detail-minded, a positive team member and able to work independently; and

(g)    be enthusiastic about design.
